7 layer mexican dip

Hi and welcome! I know, this doesn't even look like 7 layer mexican dip does it!

I will be making soon and posting a picture! This is so good and this recipe is about 25 years old at least! Enjoy! Please leave me a comment if you try before I do!

7 Layer Mexican Dip

1.  Refried Beans (I use veggie) 2 cans 16 oz each
2.  Guacamole (2 containers, you pick the size)
3.  Sour Cream (2-4 oz or to size of pan)
4.  Green Onions with tops, diced fine
5.  Tomatoes (diced fresh or canned large or small)
6.  Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
7.  Jack Cheese (I love the japapeno cheddar!)

In other words, you can add, substract, and use your fave in the order above. Just have fun with it!

Enjoy!

Quinoa

This is Quinoa! Pronounced ( keen-wa )

This is a like rice grain, with an interesting ancient history, and is delicious! It can be cooked with a rice cooker, however, Chistina of Christina Cooks cooks it stovetop. Quinoa is full of all 9 essential amino acids and is a complete protein!

I found it very tasty, is available at Walmart as well.  This particular brand is already rinsed but I did it again anyway because it can be somewhat bitter.  Bob's Red Mill is another brand, however, I haven't tried his yet, but love all his other products.

It said on the box, can be cooked in a rice cooker, mine is old, but a great kitchen tool, a
Chime-o-matic! It turns off when done! I guess it is now considered an antique! And can be found on Ebay!

A healthful food addition to my new vegetarian diet! I love it! My Sister will try it soon she said!

Enjoy, The Sisters
